During college, I co-hosted a biweekly podcast Somewhat Science on my local radio station, WESU 88.1 FM. Although most of the clips have been lost in the sands of time, here’s a segment about nuclear fusion with Under Secretary of Science in the Department of Energy, David Candral. There’s also a Part I of this story on the basics of the technology.

Full disclosure, this segment does feature melodramatic Modest Mouse music (we were 19 after all).

Originally aired on WESU 88.1 FM sometime in the spring of 2012. Check out Part I.
